I’ve always had trouble finding the words to write an “About Me.” I guess because I’ve never liked selling myself. But how else can you get to know me before we meet if there’s no introduction?

Hi, my name is Dani, and I love photography.

It all started as a child when I was taking snapshots with my plastic, rectangular 110 camera. Now in adulthood, my childhood interest has developed into a serious pursuit, and here I am! While my skill and style has improved and changed over the years, one thing has stayed the same: my favorite subject to photograph is People.

Portrait Photography is my true love in the world of photos. Especially outdoor portraiture. One the many benefits to living in a place like Kamloops, BC, is that I can’t go far out my front door without discovering another great location for a shoot!

I love going out with a shy person and getting them to laugh for the camera.

I love sessions with outgoing people – snagging shots of their zany personality… or sneaking thoughtful moments of their quiet side.

I love taking beautiful photos of people who say they aren’t photogenic – and then watching their faces when they see how amazing they look!
