Yes, it’s a cheesy post title, but Stacey is pretty much the poster child for my photography in 2011. She’s been featured on my front page on a constant basis since earlier this spring – first for her engagement session, then for her wedding photos this summer, and now for her acting headshots this fall! We’ve gone from total strangers to friends (I think our husbands are now friends on Facebook, even), which is about as ideal as you can get. I think it’s one of the things about portrait and wedding photography that sets it apart from many other industries — those awesome relationships that can be built!

Rewinding back to that first time we met and Randy and Stacey’s consult, Stacey had mentioned a desire to eventually book a session for new actor headshots sometime after she was moved and settled in the Vancouver area. So, as Thanksgiving weekend conveniently brought them back through Kamloops on an evening that I was available, we grabbed the opportunity to book this session while the weather is still nice and the evenings aren’t entirely dark.
