This darling little infant and her family were such a joy to work with. The first half of her session was a challenge – she kept waiving her arms and legs around non-stop and just wouldn’t fall asleep! The second half, however, proved that her Daddy has a calming effect on baby, and she was fast asleep.
Towards the end, we included the rambunctious doggies in the backyard. SO much energy, but they love people and we got some great laughs. Enjoy the pictures:
It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was taking the photos from Troi and Tyler’s first pregnancy! Yet, two years have passed and here we are with baby #2. I love working with Troi! She’s fellow photographer (and Nikon girl) so we get to talk shop and goof off during our sessions.
We started off the shoot downtown Kamloops and then drove out to her place in McClure to grab a few hasty shots with her husband and daughter before we packed it in and enjoyed a nice dinner together.
I first met this family when their oldest son was born, and I have been their photographer ever since. They make beautiful babies and this little guy is no exception! Every so often during the session, big brother would scamper in, blueberry stains and strawberry jam on his face.
